Key Responsibilities: As a Marketing Officer at ACHM East Africa Limited, you will play a vital role in supporting and promoting sales in all the districts in the West Nile region, including other regions like Kampala and Bunyoro (Hoima) among others. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Promotion: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract potential clients, and drive sales growth.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing and delivering quotes and invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
- Product Delivery: Coordinate product deliveries to clients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for business expansion.
- Events and Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to organize and participate in promotional events and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in a similar role or a certificate or Diploma in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Knowledge of the Arua City market and surrounding areas is a plus.
- Knowledge of driving or willingness to learn how to drive, the company will support the person’s training in driving and getting a permit.
Terms and Conditions:
- The incumbent will be paid a monthly salary of 400,000= with a top-up of 15% of profits from any business he/she secures or brings.
- Transport allowances will be given to facilitate movements, for marketing or follow-up, and delivery to locations more than 20 Kms out of Arua city.
- Per-diem will be given to cater for meals and accommodation for travels to locations that require so.
